Golf Shop
| Director of Golf, Mike Shirey, has been the Professional at Turtle Run since it
was established in 1999. Mike has been at this facility since 1988
when it was the Danville Elk's Country Club. Over the years, Mike has
received the "Merchandiser of the Year" award for the Golf Shop for the
years of 1996, 2000, 2001, and 2002.
In the spring of 2006, Mike passed his expertise on to his former assistant AJ Shannon to be the new Head Golf Professional. AJ was presented with the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year Award for the 2005 season. AJ has worked for Mike since the 1992 season. |

| The Golf Shop at Turtle Run is well stocked with all accessories any golfer might need, from clothing, clubs, towels, hats, balls, gloves, socks and shoes. We also do club fitting for anyone looking for that perfect club to fit your swing. |
